Mahaz praises OIC and Gaddafi


Mahaz Media Cell, September 30, 2009: Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi(MeA) today convened a two session get-together at its party headquarters Srinagar . The first session was presided by President MeA , Mir Mohammad Iqbal and was attended by senior leaders of the party which include Zahid Bukhari, Mohammad Yousuf Kaloo,Mohammad Shafi Mir, Mohammad Shafi Dar besides other activist of Mahaz. While speaking on the occasion all laid emphasis on strategic political activism, The only viable solution to Kashmir is complete Independence, which can ensure no sense of defeat among the contending countries of the South Asia, Mir Mohammad Iqbal said. Prime requisite in the present scenario is to trigger the diplomatic channels at all fronts, asserts Zahid .
Patron MeA Mohammad Azam Inqilabi in a telephonic address to his party leaders and activists said that the realistic approach by Libyan President Mammar Gaddafi vis-à-vis Kashmir for supporting its Independence` is admirable for his bravado and is a welcome development for achieving a long lasting durable and peaceful solution of Kashmir issue this in it self shows that the Kashmir issue is being taken seriously by the Intl community .Needless to mention that the positive approach taken by Syed Sallah-Ud –Din Chairman United Jehad Council (UJC) is not only praise worthy but shows the political maturity of UJC Supremo for eulogizing Gaddafi’s plunk , Azam said.
Now it is expected that resistance leaders through coordinated efforts with contemplation and deliberation with a new strategy will try for achieving cherished goal of freedom, Azam said, asserting, “For last few months China has shown interest in Kashmir and started formal activities, might be a matter of concern for some powers but it is a welcome sign for Kashmiris.”
Kashmiris believe that positive and constructive role of third party intervention will definitely help in the solution of Kashmir, Inqilabi said.
Azam reiterated that India has always exploited the situation but in given conditions it is only meaningful dialogue, which will work out for the permanent peace in the region. Patron MeA thanked OIC for showing solidarity with Kashmiris and fulfilling the moral obligation.

Azam urges for Charity

Mahaz Media Cell, 19th September: Patron Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi(MeA) Mohammad Azam Inqilabi in a statement issued from Srinagar on Saturday greets whole Muslim Umma and urged all Kashmiri Muslims for the charity in view of Eid-Ul Fitr .
The toll of Orphans, Widows , Destitute and a new category of `Half –Widows` has emerged at a large pace ,since the onset of resistance struggle from 1989 in a new format , we as Muslims must seize the opportunity to prove a boon to relieve agony and the Ah of Kashmiri sufferers , Inqilabi said.
“Eid is not a mere celebration but the commemoration to renew the oath to perform excellent for the sake of Allah and contribute for the suffering humanity,” Azam said, adding , “Let the Imams and Khatibs of all the Masjids , Khankaws etc. pray for the complete liberation of Kashmir from the Indian enchainment along with terror and horror unleashed by its forces to suppress the genuine freedom struggle.”
Azam Inqilabi reiterated that Kashmir as a nation is destined to achieve the Freedom` and the dawn of it will be drawn on its horizons , for the cherished goal we must have the patience , commitment , conviction and devolution which we possess, tread the path of righteousness and keep hopes to Almighty , who is the lord of all worlds .

Mahaz congratulates Mirwaiz Umer Farooq for having being re-elected as Chairman APHC

Mahaz Media cell, 16th September 2009: Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi(MeA) President, Mir Mohammad Iqbal presided over a scheduled weekly meeting at the headquarters Srinagar, Wednesday. The members while taking stock of the situation obtaining in Jammu Kashmir and also around India and Pakistan with special reference of the Indo-Pak Foreign Ministers meeting in the sidelines of UN headquarters likely to be held any time now.
The President MeA expressing himself took the opportunity to felicitate Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Umer Farooq for having being re-elected as the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference for a period of two years. He hoped that under his dynamic leadership the prospects of the settlement of Kashmir problem will brighten-up and the people thus will heave a sigh of relief in the entire region. This needs hardly any reference that Kashmir constitutes a stumbling block between India and Pakistan in terms of relationship subsisting between them ,the leadership will have to rise to the occasion and rid the people of perpetual tension and impending threat of nuclear confrontation, Mir said .
Let the Imams on last Friday of holy Ramadhan , in response to the Hurriyat call , while observing it as day of “Qudos and Kashmir”, pass a resolution urging the global leadership to address both the problems of Palestine and Kashmir and work-out just solutions in the larger interests of peace, security and stability not only in West and South Asia but across the globe as well .
The meeting was attended by Mohammad Yousuf Kaloo, Mohammad Ayub Ahanger, Jamsheed Ahmad Qureshi , Mohammad Shafi Dar, Reyaz Ahmad Shopiani, Manzoor Ahmad , Nazir Ahmad and others.

Mahaz expresses concern over deteriorating health of Pro-freedom Leaders

Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi(MeA) convenes a meeting on Thursday at party Headquarters Rajbagh Srinagar , presided by party president Mir Mohammad Iqbal .
Deteriorating health of detainees, which include Tehreek Hurriyat Supremo` Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Hurriyat Executive Shabir Ahmad Shah, Senior Hurriyat leader Nayaem Ahmad Khan besides other pro-freedom leaders was discussed in the meeting , MeA expressed concern over the plight of political resistance leaders and articulated solidarity with them .
Mir Mohammad Iqbal urged upon Intl HR organizations to take cognizance of the situation in Kashmir in the background of rising Human Rights Violations(HRVs) executed by Indian armed forces with special references to the sighting of unmarked graves in border areas of Jammu Kashmir.
President MeA reiterated that unless and until Kashmir issue is not solved, there shall be no peace in South Asia and people of the region will continue to suffer economically lingering of Kashmir Imbroglio will keep on to hamper all the developments
