Religious interference intolerable: APHC

All parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) in a statement strongly reprehends the continuous house arrest of Chairman Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Umer Farooq, who is suffering from the multiple disc ailment and condemns the constant house- lying-in of Executive member, Chairman Anjuman-e-Sahrie Shain, Agha Syed Hassan Almosvi Asafvi.
Meanwhile Senior leader of APHC, and Peoples Conference, Dr. Ghulam Mohammad Hubbi, despite deteriorating health condition: kept under illegal detention and Senior Hurriyat leader Hakeem Abdul Rashid has been shifted to Central Jail Srinagar, APHC Spokesman said.
“To cage Pro-freedom leaders by various methods has exposed the true character of puppet government ruling Jammu Kashmir and seems hell-bent to continue the wayward act ” spokesman APHC said, adding, “Not allowing Kashmiri Muslims to offer Juma Prayers at historical Jamia Masjid for consecutive seven Fridays is surely intervention into the religious affairs of Muslims, which can`t be tolerated and this like act reveals the era of 19th century , tyrant Sikh ruler ”
“To place Pro-freedom leaders under stringent Confinement to their houses can not slay their determination towards the just cause to which they are wedded with , we salute the resolute of naïve Kashmiris,” he added, President Mahaz-e-Azadi(MeA) Mir Mohammad Iqbal has felicitated peoples of South Kashmir for staying away from sham parliamentary elections and has strongly denounced the occupied authorities in Kashmir for not allowing people to offer Juma Prayers at Jamia Masjid.
In the meantime General secretary Itihad-ul Muslimeen , Ghulam Hassan Mjaroo has also deprecated over the intervention into religious affairs of Kashmiri Muslims by not allowing to observe Friday congregation at Jamia Masjid, while as Chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Zaffar Akber Bhat has also spoken in same tone and content.
